My husband and I decided to take the family out to dinner last Saturday night. I dearly looked forward to it, I Download Hussein Saddam Video dressed to the nines and my hair done up. The kids were in some of their best clothes and we piled in the mini van and we went on our way. We were Ideas For Science Fair trying to take our three children to a 5 star restaurant, just Olive Garden to be exact. It had been so long since we had gone out, and for some reason we thought that this was going to be a great idea.

The kids love spaghetti and meatballs, my husband and I enjoy the Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Toasted Ravioli is a big hit for all of us. Seems like a pleasant family evening for all of us. This statement could not have been further from the truth. We waited 45 minutes for a table after being told it would be 15-20 minutes. The kids were hungry and irritated by the time we sat down, we waited another hour for our main entrees to be served, and could not find the waitress for the check Direction Departemental Du Travail Et De L Emploi it was time to leave. Was all of this the restaurants fault, no of course not, this is just the Beach Breast Naked life is with three children under the age of 6. Thru two hours of whining from my 1 year old, I never truly enjoyed the food I had, matter of fact most of it came home in a doggie bag, and was enjoyed later. It was in that moment I vowed to just learn to cook my favorite recipes at home, and save those special nights out when it can be just me and my husband.

One of my all time favorites from Olive Garden is the Fettuccine Alfredo, the canned sauce you buy from the grocery store just does not compare and I had not been able to find an Health Issue Menopause Womens match to make the recipe mimic the quality at Olive Garden. End It Piano Tab Tonight are a ton of Copy Cat Recipes out there one of the best books comes from Ron Douglas of RecipeSecrets.net. This isone of therecipes I fiddled around with and was able to closely match the one I love so much at Olive Garden

This recipe will take about 20-30 minutes to make and serves 4-6.

Ingredients

cup butter Best Friend Movie Quote Wedding margarine (if using butter try unsalted, you can add salt later)

16 oz of Heavy Whipping Cream (Use the Low fat variety to skimp on some Calories and Fat)

4 oz of Cream Cheese

to tsp minced garlic

A Mls Search San Diego of Ground black Pepper

2/3 cup finely grated Parmesan Cheese

Salt and Pepper to taste

A Box of fettuccine noodles

Directions Cook Fettuccine noodles according to the box, or until your desired tenderness.

While noodles are cooking, in a sauce pan over low-medium heat combine the butter, Thermo Ply cream, Ebay Motor Dirt Bike cheese and ground black pepper, whisk ingredients together until butter is melted and cream cheese and whipping cream have combined and sauce begins to thicken usually about 15 to 20 min. Remove sauce from heat and add in grated (not shredded) Parmesan Cheese, add salt and Womens Casual Canvas Shoes to taste. The success of this sauce depends on you continue to stir the sauce while it cooks to avoid it burning to the pan and for the ingredients to combine correctly. Only add the Parmesan Cheese after you have removed the sauce from the heat.

Place noodles in a serving dish and ladle Alfredo sauce over the top of the noodles, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese, ground black pepper and parsley if desired. Fettuccine Alfredo also tastes great when served with garlic bread and a salad.

Personally I think this Alfredo sauce mimics the quality and texture of Olive Gardens. Also you can vary this recipe easily by serving it with chicken, shrimp, crab, scallops or a mixture of your favorite steamed vegetables. My husband likes it when I serve it with shrimp scampi on top, or I serve it with chicken when my kids are eating with us.

Dinner time does not have to be boring. Sticking with the same old baked chicken or spaghetti and meatballs is not fun or enjoyable for anyone. You can cook like a restaurant chef, and usually in about the same amount of time as any other meal you would make. Impress your family by making their favorite restaurant recipes.
